Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Samsung i505 was powered by a Motorola MX1 200 MHz CPU, which, coupled with Palm OS, was adequate for handling basic applications and functionality suited for PDAs at that time. Its memory provisions were 32MB of RAM and an equal amount as ROM; additionally, it supported an SD card slot which allowed users to expand storage for applications and personal data. However, its computational abilities were far from today’s standards, fit mostly for agenda management, simple games, and older technological browsing.
