The multimedia capabilities of the Star TV are where it strives to stand out. One of the phone’s unique selling points is its ISDB-Tb Digital TV receiver, which allows users to watch broadcast TV on the go – a rare feature particularly attractive for markets where such broadcasts are available. When it comes to audio, the phone includes a stereo FM radio with RDS but omits a 3.5mm headphone jack, which necessitates the use of compatible headphones or adapters.
The main camera is a single 3.15 MP unit that, by today’s standards, is quite basic. It is suitable for capturing simple shots but lacks the sophistication and clarity found in modern smartphone cameras. Video recording is limited to 320p at 15 frames per second, which is serviceable for quick captures meant for sharing via MMS or email, but not intended for high-quality video production.
