For messaging, the phone supported SMS, EMS, and MMS, providing a spectrum of text and multimedia communication an adequate feature for its time. It also included a WAP 1.2 browser for basic internet browsing, along with classic mobile functionalities like a clock and alarm. Entertainment options included a selection of games and applications built using Java MIDP 2.0, thus permitting users to install third-party Java apps. It also supported predictive text input to streamline messaging.
