Introduction and Design
The Samsung SGH-250, launched in 1996, represents an era in mobile technology when function-focused devices were at the forefront. Its design, signature of many models from the mid-90s, is both utilitarian and robust. At dimensions of 124 x 48 x 25 mm and a weight of 179g, this handset has a substantial feel in the hand. However, the design, though bulky by today’s standards, was quite typical of its time. The phone is equipped with a Mini-SIM slot, which was the standard then and is no longer used today due to advancements towards micro and nano SIM cards.
