Display
For its time, the Samsung X490's dual-display feature was quite innovative. The main display used a UFB screen supporting 65K colors with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels over 8 lines, delivering a modest visual experience suited for the core tasks the phone was intended for. Additionally, it had a second external mono display with a 96 x 64 pixel resolution, allowing users to quickly view notifications such as incoming calls or messages without flipping the phone open.
