Connectivity and Features
The GX18's connectivity options were quite restricted, adhering to 2G GSM networks and offering GPRS Class 10 internet access while omitting EDGE capabilities. It lacked WLAN and radio, and the positioning technology wasn’t provided. Bluetooth 2.0 allowed for some wire-free connectivity, primarily for data transfer. The inclusion of a miniUSB port offered basic wired connectivity for charging and data transfer needs. As for communications, the device supported SMS, MMS, and email via POP3, accommodating basic messaging requirements.
