Memory and Storage
The Sharp GX18 provided basic memory features with no option for external storage through a card slot, which is a significant limitation. Internally, it offered 7MB of storage, which means space was at a premium, restricting the user's ability to store large amounts of data. Nevertheless, with a phonebook capacity of up to 500 entries and call record history for 10 dialed, received, and missed calls each, it managed the basics rather efficiently for everyday communication.
