Communication and Connectivity
The Elm supports GSM and HSPA network technologies, allowing for typical 2G and 3G connectivity patterns of the time. The inclusion of a Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and DLNA enhances its connectivity options, while Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and EDR offers satisfactory wireless data transfer capabilities. Additionally, GPS support with A-GPS and Wisepilot navigation brings rudimentary location services into play. The absence of a 3.5mm headphone jack, however, can be seen as a drawback, limiting personal audio consumption ease.
