Sony Ericsson Elm Design and Build

Design and Build

The Elm is compact with dimensions of 110 x 45 x 14 mm and weighs a lightweight 90 grams. Its ergonomics and splash-resistant design cater to the needs of users who prioritize durability and comfort. Though its screen-to-body ratio is only 30.3%, the phone was considered aesthetically pleasing at its time, and the available color options, Metal Black and Pearly Rose, added a touch of personalization. Employing a mini-SIM card, the Elm's form factor is indicative of the transitional phase between feature phones and the emergence of smartphones.
