Multimedia and Camera
As a Walkman phone, multimedia features were a significant focus. The W850 supported downloadable polyphonic, MP3, and AAC ringtones, ensuring a customizable audio experience. Although it lacked a 3.5mm headphone jack, which would be considered a drawback now, it boasted Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP for wireless audio streaming. The phone's integrated FM radio with RDS added to its multimedia capabilities, alongside a single 2 MP rear camera equipped with an LED flash for basic photography and video, which could capture QCIF quality videos. For budding video callers, a front-facing videocall camera was included, serving early adopters of 3G technology with basic visual communication.
