The W950 offers a compact and sleek design, measuring 106 x 54 x 15 mm and weighing just 112 grams, which fits comfortably in the hand, making it easy to carry around. It features a Mystic Purple finish that adds to its distinct aesthetics. The resistive touchscreen, a TFT display with the capability to showcase 256K colors, measures 2.6 inches diagonally. Although the screen’s resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and a 154 ppi density may seem modest by today’s standards, it adequately served its purpose as a medium for navigation and multimedia experience at the time. The inclusion of handwriting recognition provided an intuitive way to interact with the device despite the limitations of resistive touchscreen technology.
