Staying true to its Walkman namesake, the W950 shines in the audio department with a music player supporting MP3, AAC, and MP4 formats, complemented by a stereo FM radio with RDS. Although it lacks a 3.5mm audio jack, music lovers could still enjoy their tunes with Bluetooth support that includes A2DP for wireless stereo audio. Unfortunately, it misses a built-in camera, which might disappoint users seeking an all-in-one multimedia device. Connectivity-wise, the W950 supports GSM and UMTS networks with download speeds of up to 384 kbps, a decent offering during its launch period. There's no WLAN support, but it does provide Bluetooth 2.0, an infrared port, and USB 2.0 for various connectivity needs.
