The main camera on the Xperia X10 was an 8 MP sensor with autofocus and an LED flash, which positioned it as a strong contender in mobile photography. It was capable of capturing photos with good detail and respectable quality for its time. Video recording was initially available at 480p@30fps, but a subsequent software update permitted 720p@30fps recording, enhancing its multimedia capabilities. The absence of a front-facing camera was a noticeable limitation, especially as video calls and selfies grew in popularity.
