Originally marketed with global travelers in mind, the Z500 supports multiple GSM bands. The Z500i supports GSM 900/1800/1900 bands, while the Z500a variant covers GSM 850/1800/1900, allowing it to connect to networks in different regions. The phone offers basic internet connectivity through GPRS Class 10 and EDGE Class 6, though it lacks modern connectivity features like WLAN, Bluetooth, or USB connectivity, restricting easy data transfer to other devices.
