The T-Mobile G1 carries a distinctive design from its era, featuring a physical QWERTY keyboard that slides out from beneath the display. This added a tactile dimension to the smartphone experience, catering to users who preferred physical keys over a purely touch-based interface. The phone measures 117 x 55.7 x 17.1 mm and weighs 158 grams, which was considered fairly bulky by today's standards but acceptable at the time of its release.
