Design and Display
The T-Mobile MDA Basic showcases a compact design with dimensions of 105 x 59 x 16 mm. It's relatively lightweight at 110 grams, making it easy to carry and handle. The phone features a resistive TFT touchscreen display, measuring 2.8 inches with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. While the screen-to-body ratio stands at approximately 39.2%, this was fairly standard for its time. The display supports 65K colors, which is modest by today's standards, but was acceptable for basic smartphone displays in 2009. Its TouchFLO finger swipe navigation added a layer of intuitive finger-based interactions, offering users a simpler experience in navigating the phone.
