Performance and Software
Powered by a 200 MHz ARM926EJ-S processor housed within a TI OMAP 850 chipset, the MDA Basic was equipped to handle basic tasks effectively. It ran Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, a staple operating system at the time, offering features like Pocket Office for mobile productivity. With 128MB of RAM and 256MB of ROM, the phone's memory might seem minimal today but was adequate for running the lightweight applications available then. The inclusion of a dedicated microSD card slot provided an option for expanding storage, addressing the multimedia needs to some extent.
