Connectivity and Features
A significant limitation of the Telit X60i is its reliance on GSM technology, supporting only 2G networks across the 900/1800/1900 bands, which confines its use in today's advanced communications landscape. There was no provision for EDGE, Bluetooth, or WLAN, which were either emerging or not widely adopted at the level of this phone's creation. Its communication capability was primarily through GPRS Class 10, adequate for basic data needs like browsing through its WAP 1.2.1 browser. For audio, the device lacked a loudspeaker and 3.5mm audio jack, so users had to rely on its vibration mode and downloadable polyphonic ringtones for audio alerts.
