Under the hood, the vivo V3 was powered by the Qualcomm MSM8939v2 Snapdragon 616 chipset, paired with an octa-core CPU configuration consisting of four 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 cores and four 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 cores. This setup, accompanied by the Adreno 405 GPU, provided smooth performance for everyday tasks and moderate gaming needs. The phone boasted 3GB of RAM, which was adequate for running multiple applications simultaneously without significant lag. The device ran on Android 5.1 Lollipop, with vivo's Funtouch 2.5 interface on top. While the software was intuitive and offered some customization options, the older Android version meant missing out on newer features and enhanced security updates available in later iterations of the OS.
