In terms of connectivity, the Mi 3 didn’t disappoint, incorporating Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band Wi-Fi Direct, and hotspot capabilities. Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, GPS, and GLONASS support further strengthened its connectivity options. NFC was a welcome addition, facilitating quicker data transfers and mobile payments. The inclusion of FM radio and microUSB 2.0 (with OTG support) added to the versatility of the device.
On the multimedia side, the Mi 3 featured a loudspeaker with decent audio performance, offering voice and noise levels of 69dB and 66dB, respectively. The inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack was an essential feature at the time for enjoying audio through wired headphones.
