Performance and Software
The Redmi Note 3 comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset, housing a hexa-core CPU and an Adreno 510 GPU. This combination provided good performance for its time, handling day-to-day tasks with ease and even supporting some moderate gaming. It originally launched with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Xiaomi's MIUI skin on top, upgradable to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and MIUI 9.5, which brought several enhancements and optimizations. The device was available in two memory configurations: 16GB of internal storage with 2GB RAM and a more robust 32GB with 3GB RAM, allowing for decent multitasking capabilities.
