Powered by a removable 1100 mAh Li-Ion battery, the phone claimed a standby time of up to 200 hours, and a talk time of around 3 hours and 30 minutes. While these figures reflected reasonably acceptable battery life for a device of its time, the limited capacity necessitated frequent charging, especially with active use.
