Performance and Software
Under the hood, the ZTE Racer was powered by a Qualcomm MSM7227 Snapdragon S1 chipset featuring a 600 MHz ARM 11 CPU and an Adreno 200 GPU. Coupled with 256MB of RAM, its performance was modest, posing limitations particularly in handling multitasking or resource-intensive applications. The phone ran on Android 2.1 Eclair, which at the time offered a satisfactory user experience with essential Android functionalities, including access to the Android Market for downloading apps, albeit with constraints in performance and storage.
