Design and Build

The Amoi CA6 boasts a compact and robust design, with dimensions of 85.8 x 49 x 24.6 mm and a lightweight body weighing just 80 grams. Its form factor is typical of early mobile phones, focusing on portability and ease of use. The device utilizes a Mini-SIM, which was standard for the time, and features a primary CSTN display capable of showing 65K colors. The main screen has a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, which was adequate for displaying basic graphics and text. Notably, the phone includes a secondary external OLED display with a resolution of 96 x 64 pixels, providing users with at-a-glance information such as caller ID and time, which was a popular feature in clamshell designs of that period.
