Network and Connectivity
The iPad Wi-Fi + 3G model supports a range of connectivity options, operating on both GSM and HSPA networks. It covers a wide spectrum of 2G and 3G bands, including GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and HSDPA 850/1900/2100. Although the technology it used was advanced at the time, its data speeds would now be considered modest by today's 4G or 5G standards, but back then, the availability of 3G provided users with ample speed connectivity for simpler tasks. The inclusion of a Micro-SIM slot allowed users to access network data when Wi-Fi wasn’t available, which was a significant advantage over the Wi-Fi-only model.
