In terms of design, the iPhone 3GS maintained the classic aesthetic of its antecedent, the iPhone 3G, with its rounded edges and glossy finish. The phone's dimensions are 115.5 x 62.1 x 12.3 mm, and it weighs 135 grams, providing a solid feel while retaining an ergonomic comfort for the user. The device was available in two color options: black and white, giving consumers a basic choice for personalization. The body of the phone utilizes a Mini-SIM card, which was standard for the time.
