Powering the HTC Panache is a 1400 mAh removable Li-Ion battery, which was sufficient for its time. It boasts a stand-by time of up to 243 hours and a talk time of approximately 6 hours and 40 minutes, demonstrating reasonable energy efficiency given its hardware and software constraints. The removable battery allowed users the flexibility to swap out for a spare, a feature that has since largely disappeared in modern smartphone design.
