The camera setup on the HTC Panache reflects the nascent stages of smartphone photography. The main camera offers 5 MP with autofocus, backed by an LED flash, supporting video recording at 720p at 30fps. This was considered quite robust in 2011, providing average image quality for capturing everyday moments. The front-facing VGA camera is best suited for basic video calling, lacking the sophistication of today’s myriad high-resolution selfie cameras.
