At the heart of the HTC Panache lies the Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon S2 chipset, featuring a scant by today's standards 1.0 GHz Scorpion CPU and an Adreno 205 GPU. This configuration was adequate for handling the moderate demands of the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, along with the HTC Sense UI 2 overlay, incorporating a then-modern user experience. The device includes 8 GB of internal storage, with 1.2 GB available to the user, augmented by 768 MB RAM, which was suitable for running basic applications and multi-tasking to a limited extent.
