Featuring a 2.2-inch TFT display with 65K colors, the display of the i-mate SPL offers a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels at about 182 ppi density. While this might seem modest by today's standards, back in 2006, such specifications were fairly standard for a mid-range smartphone. The screen size and resolution were adequate for basic functions and usage, such as browsing and using light applications.
