Battery Life
With a removable 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery, the A690 offered fairly standard battery life for an entry-level smartphone of its time. While this wouldn't provide extensive use, it was usually enough for a day of basic communications and light usage. The option to swap the battery could have been advantageous for users who carried extra batteries for extended usage without access to charging facilities.
