Operating System and Performance
At the heart of the MIO 8870 was Microsoft's Windows Mobile 2003 SE Smartphone edition, powered by an Intel PXA262 processor clocked at 200 MHz. While modest, this setup allowed for the execution of essential smartphone functions. The device came with 32MB of internal memory, expandable via an MMC/SD card slot to about 1 GB, offering users some flexibility to store additional applications and media.
