With no card slot for expandable memory, the Samsung D500 offered 96 MB of shared memory. This was used for storing photos, videos, MMS, and MP3 files. The phonebook’s capacity to store up to 1000 contacts across 12 fields was quite sufficient for most users back then. Additionally, the device kept track of recent call records efficiently, supporting 20 dialed, received, and missed calls each.
