The 8.0-inch TFT display with an 800 x 1280 resolution interestingly strikes a balance for productivity and media consumption, though its pixel density of approximately 189 ppi means it does not compare to the sharper displays seen in more contemporary devices. However, at the time, it provided users with ample screen real estate for multitasking and using the S Pen, which is a defining feature of the Galaxy Note series.
