Display and Interface
The SX45 features a TFT resistive touchscreen display, capable of rendering 65,000 colors at a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels in a 4:3 aspect ratio. The touchscreen is resistive, which requires a stylus for precise input—a contrast to the capacitive touchscreens of modern devices. The screen size, limited by today’s standards, was considered relatively large back then and it was essential for accessing the device’s core functionalities that were driven by Windows CE 3.0, providing full PocketPC capabilities.
