Connectivity and Features
The M608 supported GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 networks with GPRS Class 10 for mobile data, lacking EDGE technology which was becoming increasingly common during that era. The phone also featured Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP for wireless audio streaming and an infrared port for data exchange, although it did not offer WLAN or GPS capabilities. The device relied on a proprietary USB connection for data syncing and charging. Despite the absence of a loudspeaker, the phone allowed for vibration alerts and downloadable polyphonic, MP3, and AAC ringtones.
