Sony Ericsson M608 Display

Display

One of the key aspects of the M608 was its 2.6-inch TFT resistive touchscreen, which supported 256K colors. Though quite small by today’s standards, the screen was adequate for the phone’s form factor, with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. This resulted in a pixel density of approximately 154 ppi, delivering reasonably sharp visuals for basic tasks. The screen-to-body ratio was rather low at around 34.3%, indicating sizable bezels. An interesting feature for its time was handwriting recognition, which added a layer of flexibility for user input beyond the physical keyboard.
