Performance and Software
Powered by a 32-bit Philips Nexperia PNX4008 processor clocked at 208 MHz, the M608 was built on the Symbian 9.1 operating system with the UIQ 3.0 interface. While this setup provided sufficient performance for basic mobile applications, it was relatively modest even for its release period. The device was primarily capable of handling communication and productivity apps, rather than media-rich or multitasking-heavy applications. The internal memory of 80MB, with expandability through Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards up to 4GB, reflected the limited storage options available at the time.
