Apple iPhone 3G Audio and Connectivity

Audio and Connectivity

The audio experience on the iPhone 3G was supported through a loudspeaker and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, a much-appreciated feature that provided flexibility in audio connectivity. It included Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, though limited to headset support, and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g for wireless connectivity, which were adequate during its release period. GPS and A-GPS capabilities enhanced the location-based services, although the lack of radio and a more modern USB standard highlighted some connectivity restraints.
