The iPhone 3G featured a 3.5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of around 165 PPI. At the time, this display was considered groundbreaking, offering vibrant colors and decent sharpness for web browsing and media consumption. The screen represented roughly 50.9% of the device's front, a sharp contrast to modern devices with much higher screen-to-body ratios, but reflective of the design norms of its era.
