Display and User Interface
The Motorola MPx featured a TFT resistive touchscreen, providing users with the capability to interact by touch. Although resistive screens require a bit more pressure than capacitive displays, the touchscreen offered a decent size of 2.8 inches, with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution. This results in a pixel density of approximately 143 ppi, which was satisfactory at the time for reading and basic UI navigation. The second STN display was an innovative addition, offering quick access to notifications and basic information without opening the phone.
