Nokia’s collaboration with Carl Zeiss optics is evident in the N85's 5 MP main camera, complete with autofocus and an LED flash. Despite seeming modest now, it was a well-regarded camera setup during its release, known for producing high-quality photos. It also supported video recording at 480p at 30 frames per second, which was reasonable for capturing memories or short clips. The inclusion of a CIF videocall camera added video calling capabilities, although limited by the network support and quality of the era.
