Performance and Software
Running on Symbian OS 9.3 with the S60 release 3.2 interface, the Nokia N85 was powered by a 369 MHz ARM 11 processor. Performance was smooth for its time, capable of handling basic smartphone tasks, multimedia playback, and the specific suite of applications available on the Symbian platform. While the OS offered rich customization and extensive app support in its day, it lacks the capabilities of more contemporary operating systems. Internal storage was minimal, with only 74 MB available, but this was mitigated by the inclusion of an 8 GB microSDHC card, providing ample space for media and applications.
