Design and Build
The Nokia N85 comes with a dual-slide design, which was a distinctive feature in Nokia's lineup, allowing users to access multimedia controls conveniently by sliding the phone in the opposite direction of the keyboard. With dimensions of 103 x 50 x 16 mm and a weight of 128 grams, the phone strikes a balance between portability and substantiality in the hand. The use of premium materials and the dual sliding mechanism gave it a futuristic look and enhanced its usability, though at a thickness of 16 mm, it might be considered bulky by today’s standards. The device uses a Mini-SIM, a commonality in phones of that period, ensuring easy switching for users with multiple devices.
