The N85 features a 2.6-inch AMOLED display, a technology that was relatively novel at the time, offering vibrant colors and deep blacks with a palette of 16 million colors. Although its resolution of 240 x 320 pixels results in a pixel density of around 154 ppi, which is quite low by modern expectations, it was adequate for the device’s screen size, providing clear and crisp visuals for everyday tasks. The inclusion of a touch-sensitive Navi wheel provided an early glimpse into touch navigation in mobile devices.
